Lynda Murray was born in Los Angeles and grew up surrounded by the creativity and talent that is found on the West Coast. Realizing her lifelong passion for interiors at an early age, Murray decided to pursue her dream and study Interior Design at the UCLA Interior and Environmental Design program. Throughout her portfolio, which includes 5-star hotels, movie studios, and stunning private residences, you will find the influence of nature in her work—creating an aesthetic of clean lines, neutral palettes, and harmony with the architecture of a space. For The Rug Company, she has designed the sophisticated organic rug Quarry, directly inspired by a marble showpiece she designed in Beverly Hills.
