Trine Kielland

Trine Kielland was born in Oslo into a creative family full of composers, painters, and architects. Art in all its forms has been a large part of Kielland’s life and has had a huge impact on her development as an artist. After setting up her own interior design firm, her path eventually led into fine art, which she dedicates herself to from her home in Berlin. Kielland is inspired by organic and geometric patterns found within nature and in the fabric of our man-made world, such as the ceilings, walls, and floors of our great buildings. Kielland’s interest in natural materials comes from her passion for horticulture and growing vegetables, flowers, herbs, and spices, which she cultivates at her summer home in the Norwegian archipelago.
